PerroLand is a family-owned and operated business founded in 2014, built on compassion, trust, and hands-on experience. Our journey began years ago with the simple act of rescuing dogs in need. Whether it was helping a stray on the street or supporting a pup in a difficult situation, we’ve always believed in giving animals a second chance at a happy life.
That passion led us to volunteer with local animal shelters, where we gained invaluable experience caring for animals of all kinds. These early experiences shaped our approach to pet care and continue to guide us today, emphasizing love, patience, safety, and individualized attention for every pet we serve.
Today, PerroLand is a reflection of that dedication. We’ve created a place where pets are treated with the same care, respect, and affection we give our own. Our team shares this deep commitment, and together we strive to make every pet’s experience as positive, comforting, and stress-free as possible.

Karen 🐶🐱
Karen Del Real is the founder and owner of PerroLand Pet Care. She is a proud mother to a wonderful 4-year-old daughter, a devoted pet parent to a 10-year-old dog and a 10-year-old cat, and a lifelong animal lover whose passion for pets has shaped both her life and career.
More than 11 years ago, Karen made the life-changing decision to leave her traditional 9-to-5 job to follow her heart. That leap of faith led to the creation of PerroLand Pet Care, a family-owned business built on love, trust, and genuine connection. Her passion for animals has been present for as long as she can remember, and she approaches her work with compassion, dedication, and joy every single day.
What Karen enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to meet and bond with so many unique dogs and cats, each with their own personalities, quirks, and ways of brightening the day. Spending time outdoors in all seasons, breathing fresh air, staying active, and sharing joyful moments with the pets in her care makes her feel energized and truly alive. To Karen, this work is not just a job, it’s a calling.
Beyond pet care, Karen is also a creative soul. She makes music, plays the keyboard and accordion, and is part of her own band. Creativity, passion, and heart are woven into everything she does, both personally and professionally.
Karen is deeply proud of the strong relationships she has built with clients over the years, bonding not only with their pets but with their families as well. She feels profoundly grateful for the trust placed in her and her team and for the many rewards this work brings into her life. As PerroLand continues to grow, Karen remains committed to learning, evolving, and serving the community with the same love, integrity, and dedication that inspired the business from the very beginning.

Manny 🐶🐱
Manny is one of our trusted dog walkers who brings positive energy, kindness, and genuine love for animals to every visit. He truly enjoys the excitement of being greeted at the door, the tail wags, happy dances, and affectionate kisses that come with caring for dogs and cats. Being outdoors, especially on sunny days makes his work even more rewarding.
Manny has been a valued member of the PerroLand family for 6 years, and his dedication, reliability, and heart for pets earned him our Employee of the Year recognition last year.
Clients appreciate his thoughtful communication, detailed reports, and photo updates, as well as the care and respect he shows their homes and beloved pets.
He loves that every pet has a unique personality and always says choosing a favorite is impossible because they’re all his favorites. Outside of work, Manny enjoys boxing, spending time with family, and hanging out with his two dogs. We’re incredibly grateful to have Manny on our team and proud of the trust he builds every day.
Dog Walker / Pet Sitter
Kaitlyn is one of our dedicated dog walkers who brings genuine care, patience, and enthusiasm to every visit. She loves building meaningful relationships with both pets and their humans, and nothing makes her happier than seeing a pup light up with excitement when she arrives.
Kaitlyn especially enjoys getting to know each pet’s unique personality, from quirky habits to sweet routines, and has a soft spot for meeting uncommon breeds and caring for cats as well. Clients appreciate her clear communication, thoughtful updates, and photos that show just how comfortable and happy their pets are in her care. One of her favorite compliments? “He must really love you, I’ve never seen him do that before.”
When she’s not caring for pets, Kaitlyn enjoys listening to music, exploring new coffee spots, hiking, thrifting, gaming, and spending time with her partner and friends, or simply relaxing at home.
